Building Materiels Needed For Winter In Gaza

It is being reported today that Gaza is in desperate need of building materiels to rebuild apartments and homes destroyed during the siege on Gaza last winter by Israel.

Many of the wealthy in Gaza have been able to purchase block on the black market, but the poor and displaced that are living in tents have no money for such materiels.

Israel has stated that concrete and rebar would not be allowed into Gaza.

Please, write your Senator, your President, your Congressman, AIPAC-and demand that Gazans be afforded the same safety and security from the elements as the Israelis.

Al Aqsa Mosque

The Al Aqsa Mosque is the third most important Muslim Holy Site in the world.

This past year, Israel has been allowing archaeology digs on the Jewish side of the Mosque which has compromised the foundations of the Mosque.

This past year, certain Rabbis and Jewish settlers have arranged prayer times on the compound of the Mosque, knowing full well that Jews praying near the Mosque is strictly forbidden in Islam.

If it were the other way around and Palestine had power, what do you think America's reaction would be to Palestinians digging at the Temple Mount or The Wailing Wall?

This is yet another example of Israel exerting it's strength over those with virtually no voice in their own affairs.

Please, do not give up on Palestine. Write your Senator, your President and AIPAC demanding equal Human Rights for Palestine.

No Peace Deal for Palestine

Today it is reported that Israel's Foreign Minister, Avigdor Leiberman has stated there will be no immediate peace deal in Palestine. http://bit.ly/wLN6r

How can we as a planet of humans, allow the continued Occupation of Gaza and Apartheid Wall in the West Bank?

How can we give up on a people that have done nothing wrong but to be born in a place where poverty and shame are a forced lifestyle?

How can we Westerners give up on innocent children that will turn to hate in order to meet their basic needs?

If we truly want a peaceful World, it begins in Palestine.

DO NOT ALLOW OUR GOVERNMENT TO GIVE UP ON PEACE FOR PALESTINE!!!!! Continue writing letters to the President, the Secretary of State, your Congressmen, your Senators, AIPAC...

Our voices must be the voices of those that cannot scream for themselves. Please help.

Palestine, I'm Sorry My Nation...

Has failed you again. I'm sorry that the President we all hoped would free Palestine up to become what she once was failed us all.

I'm sorry that our wunderkind George Mitchell capitulated to Israel and it's settlements that encroach upon the West Bank.

I'm sorry that our government doesn't understand how it feels to have your sacred Mosque trampled on by IDF soldiers and to have settlers enjoy their Purim rites on your sacred space, or to have them destroy the very foundations of your sacred building.

I'm sorry your people have no water, food, work, homes and that our government pays lip service to your people.

I'm sorry that some of you have to look at that ugly Apartheid Wall every day to be reminded of the loved ones, farms, the sea that you cannot visit.

I'm so so sorry.

And most of all, I'm sorry my little sorry blog does not have a "delete" button to make all the harm and evil in your lives magically disappear.

I will keep working, Palestine. I will not fail you, capitulate to anyone regarding you, pay you lip service or build walls between us to shut you out.
